Our Summer tenants survey
In August, we ran a
survey online and in our newsletter asking tenants five key
questions, which covered what they liked or disliked about
their estate, what we should do differently, what they
thought about our repairs service and if they suffered from anti
social behaviour. The aim was to find out what matters the
most to our tenants and what improvements they would like to see
happen locally
Over 300 surveys
were completed and we will be using the results to help us
develop our delivery plan, which sets out the improvements we will
focus on in the next year.
The responses have included
lots of positive and constructive feedback as well as lots of good
ideas for us to use - here's a selection of what our tenants told
us:
There is nothing to
dislike and have no complaints. Your staff here are so wonderful
and caring.
Canterbury tenant
'There is
nothing my husband and I dislike - we have lived here 65
years’
Dover
tenant
‘You keep
the grounds outside in exceptional condition’
Shepway
tenant
‘I have been
pleasantly surprised at how well you look after our little corner
at Newlands House. The cleaners do a lovely job every week and the
council take away large dumped goods each week, so it does on
occasions look quite nice’
Thanet tenant
And here’s just some of the
ideas:
‘Get
onto tenants to clean up both front and back of their
gardens’
Dover tenant
‘Put rent
account on-line, with on-line statements’
Canterbury tenant
'If possible
for partition balconies as my neighbours throw rubbish through the
gaps and so something to improve communal areas.'
Shepway
tenant
'Improve the
grounds around the flats by putting seats for us to sit on in the
sunshine and some shrubs.'
Thanet
tenant
We will publish the results from the
full survey and keep you updated on how our delivery plan
develops.
