Welcome to East Kent Housing
Last summer we consulted tenants
and leaseholder about joining up with other councils in East
Kent to provide a better housing service.
A majority of tenants and leaseholders
thought this was a good idea and now Canterbury, Dover, Shepway and
Thanet district councils have set up East Kent Housing to run their
services for you.
We would like to say a big thank
you to everyone who took part in our consultation and especially to
the members of the Joint Tenants and Leaseholders Group (JTLG).
They have all worked hard to make sure that tenants were fully
consulted and will continue to play an important role in the way
East Kent Housing is run.
The four councils have set up East
Kent Housing to help improve the housing service that you receive
from your council. We believe that listening more to what tenants
and leaseholders are telling us is the best way to do things even
better.
