Our Tenants' Communications Group

The East Kent Housing Tenants communications group is made up of tenants and leaseholders and tenant participation officers, who all contribute and oversee the production of your local housing newsletter and communication materials. 

Our newsletter includes the main East Kent Housing news as well as the local news and information - read the latest editions of our newsletter.

What do the group do?

From giving ideas to what the newsletter should cover, to taking part in features, helping with design layouts and proof reading - its a real team effort to put your local East Kent Housing newsletter together.  The group also look at our leaflets, posters and discuss campaign ideas too.  Most recently, the group have helped put together our Benefit Changes film - which you can watch on Youtube.

The group meet monthly in Canterbury for around two hours with transport and refreshments provided.

Could you join the group?

We’re looking for other local tenants and leaseholders to join our Communications group and help us improve the content in our magazines and marketing campaigns.  Being on the group is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and have fun. What you do on the board could range with coming up with ideas, writing, taking photographs and interviewing people.  If you’d like to get involved, please contact Lucy Tuson.
