Dover Area Board
Welcome to the home of the Dover Area
Board. This is where we'll be putting everything you need to
know about us - who we are, when we're meeting, what we've been
doing, and how to contact us or even join us.
First meeting date announced!
Our first meeting was on Thursday
23 June at the The Landmark Centre, Deal and you can view the
agenda discussed. Our
minutes will follow shortly.
We asked Anthony Ovenden, Chairmen of
Dover's Area Board and member of the East Kent Housing
communications group what he thought of the meeting:
Anthony said: "It was my
pleasure to open the first meeting and welcome all present.
Many years of work had gone into getting to this stage and all
members of the Area Board are looking forward to the challenges
that lay ahead. The meeting was well attended by Tenant Board
Members together with officers from East Kent Housing.
There was a full Agenda of
topics including consultation from the main Board on the Equality
and Diversity Policy and Complaints Policy, Annual Report and the
Forward Plan. The meeting approved the process to elect a new
Tenant Board Member for Dover. We look forward to many more
interesting meetings to come."

Thursday 29 September 2011 from 6-8pm. The venue is
still to be confirmed and we will update this page shortly.
