If you answered yes, then YOU should join your local Area Board!

Who are we looking for?

• Tenant’s or Leaseholder’s of East Kent Housing who are over the age of 18
• Someone who can attend a two hour meeting every six weeks – this is the minimum - you can do as little or as much as suits your circumstances

What do you get from joining?

• You can help make a difference locally and learn new skills
• Meet new people and make new friends
• Take part in and help organise community events
• Keep an eye on East Kent Housing’ and their contractors’ performance
• Help set local standards and decide how budgets should be spent

What we can do for you:

• Provide transport or help with the costs for travel
• Pay for childcare or carer costs
• Providing free training, help and support
• Free  refreshments at our meetings
