How Area Boards are accountable to you

Easy to contact

  • Each Area Board has a dedicated webpage setting out how you can contact them.  We will also advertise this information through our newsletters, and in public places such as community centres, Post Offices, and in our local offices.

  • We are also going to set up email addresses and online forms for each of the Area Boards to provide a quick and easy way for you to contact them.

Easy to attend

  • All Area Board meetings are open to the public, but you would need to notify us that you would like to attend by contacting your local tenant participation officer

  • The dates, times, and locations will be widely advertised in local community venues.

Keeping you informed

  • All Area Board meeting minutes and any updates on actions from the meetings will be published on this website and made available in paper form on request.  We can also make them available in other formats, such as Braille, large print, or in different languages on request.

  • If you have raised an issue at a meeting, you will be kept informed personally about what is happening with it.

  • Regular news updates from the Area Boards will go into local newsletters and onto their pages on this website.

  • The programme of scrutiny reviews (investigations by Area Boards into aspects of our service) will also be published, and the details and outcomes of these reviews will be made available on this website and in paper form on request.
