Low-cost home contents insurance

Your local council ONLY insure the structure of your home - meaning anything else is at risk if you don't have home contents insurance.

That's why we are promoting a low cost home contents insurance scheme that could cover your belongings against fire, theft, water damage and other risks.


How much does it cost?
The standard insurance cover starts from just 83p per week (this may depend upon age and your postcode area.). You can even choose to pay extra to cover items you take outside your home such as mobile phones, jewellery or laptops* as well as accidental damage or cover for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and hearing aids. You can also choose to cover the building/structure of garden sheds and greenhouses.
